Hey, why do some of these say they were written by “Amanda Woodard”? Who is that?
That’s my dead name. Here’s an explanation of why I changed my name.

Prism Health North Texas, 2024
As the Content Manager at PHNTX, I lead the charge on digital and print communications, particularly through web and email. I curate our blog and our newsletters, soliciting pieces from providers as needed for certain topics to ensure accuracy and reputability. In addition to acquisition and editing, I also optimize digital pieces for search engines and AI, so more people can find the health-improving information they seek.

Achievement Center of Texas, 2017-2018
As the Marketing Director of Achievement Center of Texas (ACT), I redesigned and rebranded the organization’s website. I was also in charge of all content marketing, from blog writing to social media content creation. I learned quickly that this was too much for one person, making $32k a year, fresh out of college. I hired a series of volunteer seasonal interns and assigned them creative tasks. I taught them how to navigate WordPress and what improved SEO. I also edited their content for quality assurance.
Note: No shade or hate intended, but I need y’all to know that this website did NOT look like this when I left.
I took charge of the ACT blog from May 2017 to March 2018.
I also wrote this blog article: 6 Sensory Arts and Crafts Projects for Children with Autism
